Roundover Stool

The Roundover Stool is a stackable European ash stool dyed in a range of different colors. Designed to show how dyes interact with wood, the stool is machined with a large radius roundover bit that highlights the continuum of shades achieved. This variability is caused by irregular absorption caused by the wood grain and the different forces that act on the trees as they grow. Celebrating wood's materiality every Roundover stool is as unique as the ash tree it came from.
