Behind These Walls explores the potential for techniques and materials utilized for timber framing construction to be applied to domestic objects, furniture, and spaces. Exposing hidden narratives, the projects aims to inform and question the way our built environment is constructed and who has access to this knowledge. Celebrating standardized construction techniques that create our most intimate places, the objects expanded and reinterpret outcomes of industrial standardization.
